The "Hautest" Cocktail Rings for Fall

Designers are putting their best foot forward as they introduce dramatic and opulent looks for fall. And cocktail rings seem to fit the ticket perfectly. With oversize stones that sparkle, get in on this stand-out trend with Cubic Zirconia cocktail rings that offers all the glam without the big price tag.

Neon and bright colored stones are stealing the scene for fall '09. To get the look, pick up CZ rings in colors like lime green, fluorescent yellow or hot pink. Add the jewels to a basic black sheath for a modern take on costume jewelry. One great (and inexpensive) Cubic Zirconia cocktail ring is just the perfect pick-me-up for updating structured pieces at the office or for adding a splash of color when you're grabbing after-work drinks with the girls. As best demonstrated by the 80s, a little neon color goes a long way; a cocktail ring adds just the right amount. Lulu's Flower Stretch Cocktail Ring- TurquoiseOver the top glam and luxe is back in a big way. There's no limit to the size of CZ cocktail ring that you can wear with a fabulous cocktail dress. In fact, bigger is better this season, with pieces that speak for themselves and will have everyone swooning. Go for megawatt bling by adding a 4 or 5 carat CZ ring to a simple sheath or basic black. Colored stones in jewel tones are great at commanding attention while looking rich and classy.Genie's Dome Stretch Cocktail RingFunky, edgy and tough are some of the words that come to mind when describing another must-have trend – futuristic. From sunglasses to stilettos, space age inspired fashions are popping up all over the galaxy. And with cocktail rings that take up several fingers, it's easy to make a statement with one great CZ ring. Fergie, Lady Gaga and Rihanna are all fans of these retro modern styles.

The Best Clip On Earrings for Every Hair Style

Clip on earrings have always been a great alternative for women who don't have pierced ears. But the nice thing is, anyone can wear clip earrings. They're suitable for every age, and they don't require painful procedures, many weeks of heal time and special metals that won't infect your ears. Clip earrings are an all around fashionable alternative, and they’re more affordable than ever. As with any earrings, you want to choose a style that will flatter your features and your hair cut. Here, we take a look at some of the top trends for every shape and shade of locks.

For those women that have long hair, it's best to wear clip on earrings that are large and in charge. This way, they won't get lost or hidden by your beautiful mane. Choose a great pair of hoop clip-on earrings in hammered or textured metal. The added sparkle will grab the attention and command attention. For dressier occasions, add a pair of chandelier clip earrings with large rhinestones to a head of curly hair for a glamazon "Do".
Hoop EarringsFor those of you with short hair, elongate your neck with clip-on earrings in a style that flatters. Select designs with a small to medium drop in shapes such as pear or oval. Show off a great pair of colorful clip earrings against a monotone outfit. With your hair up and off your face, the earrings will take center stage and make a noticeable impact.

Clip on earrings come in so many variations, it's hard to choose just one style that will work best. Clip earrings can be worn on a daily basis, with no worry of hurting or damaging your earlobes. So go ahead and try a few new pairs out. You might be surprised how much you love them from the minute you clip them on.

Rocker inspired Necklaces

If you've ever been to a concert, then you know that the costumes, the makeup and the jewelry are all part of the production. They have to be dramatic, make an impact and be noticeable from afar. This year, fashion has taken inspiration from rocker fashion, as bold necklaces style the scene on everyone from Hollywood A-listers to college students to socialites. These fashion statements can be worn a variety of ways, and here, we take a look at a few of our favorite combos.

Those women who prefer to keep things a little more feminine and girly can still pull off rocker necklaces. The key is to balance the look and create contrast, so as not to look like you are trying to make a younger fad work for you. For example, if you're wearing a delicate fabric like silk, satin or lace, adding rocker necklaces will prevent you from appearing too cutsie. After all, it's important to be age appropriate. Steer clear of excess jewelry and let the necklace take center stage. You can easily get away with wearing a chain link necklace to the office, paired with a silky camisole and blazer. Simply take off your jacket and add a pair of killer heels, and you're ready for after work drinks at happy hour.

For those who are a little more daring, add a tough rocker necklace to an all black ensemble for a night on the town. Look for muted metals like gunmetal or brass to keep it from looking cheap. And don't be afraid to mix and match with other long necklaces that you have. For example, a long strand of pearls might look totally different when paired with long twisted link necklaces. Have fun with this rock and roll look and remember that confidence is your best accessory.

Megan Fox’s Jewelry Style

With the movie Transformers blowing up on the big screen, the stunning Megan Fox has been stealing the scene as she walks the red carpet in gorgeous gowns and jewels to match. She's creating a signature style that is as va-va-voomy as her knockout good looks. Megan prefers longer evening gowns that drape across her body and are reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour. And we're starting to notice a trend with her jewelry too. Miss Fox tends to opt toward drop earrings and bangle bracelets. Here, we examine some of our favorite looks of hers and let you know how you can duplicate her style.

To the L.A. premiere of Transformers, Megan wore a modern one-shoulder Grecian gown. She accessorized perfectly with diamond and platinum hoop earrings and two large matching bangle bracelets. The light colored metal looked great set against her dark hair and light eyes. If you have similar features, look for white gold or sterling silver jewelry for a great contrast, or try CZ jewelry that are affordable and offer all the sparkle for a lot less.

For the movie premieres in Moscow and Berlin, Megan accessorized with drop earrings. She paired a gold pair of triangle shaped chandelier earrings with a hot pink dress one night and wore a small pair of gold drop earrings with a red dress the next night. The earrings were a perfect compliment as her hair was pulled back off of her face, to allow the earrings to be seen.

Megan's jewelry style shies away from the latest trends. Instead she stays true to her own unique sense of style, which includes armfuls of bangle bracelets and drop earrings, either worn together or separately. To imitate her style, grab gold plated or gold tone bangle bracelets and wear with one shouldered tank tops and casual dresses.

Use Earrings to Express Your Personality

Earrings have long been used to accessorize outfits, but they're also a great way to let your personality shine through. For centuries, earrings have been worn by nobility, as a sign of wealth and prosperity. Earrings were used to show off and show style. Today, earrings are more about an extension of oneself than anything else.

Earrings can help you have a better day when you're feeling blue. If you've ever woken up and just felt like "blah", throwing on a pair of your favorite earrings can lift your mood.

Earrings can make you feel better about yourself because they can help you to feel pretty or boost your confidence. If you have a bubbly personality, then wearing colorful beaded earrings are the perfect accessory. If you have an edgier side, then you might want to try earrings that are inspired by the vibe of rock n' roll. And if you prefer to keep things cool and classic, then you'll probably favor earrings such as pearls or small studs.

Earrings can also be personalized to show off your initials, your favorite pastimes, hobbies or interests. For example, a beach lover might wear sterling silver earrings shaped like starfish. A mother might wear earrings with charms for each of her children. An artist might wear asymmetrical earrings designed to be a bit funky and fun. No matter who you are, there are plenty of options for earrings that will gel with your personality and tastes.

Earrings also make a great gift when you take the time to customize the purchase to the recipient's preferences. With so many earrings to choose from, you can be sure you'll find the perfect gift for anyone, including: friends, mom, grandma, aunt, mother-in-law, teacher, neighbor, etc. So the next time you put on a pair of earrings, think about how they reflect other traits that you carry throughout your life.
