THE TIME WAS FUN WHILE IT LASTED. NEW YORK'S FAHION WEEK IS FAR FROM OVER BUT BECAUSE OF TEACHERS HAVING TO GIVE ME THERE KNOWLEDGE ON COMMUNICATIONS & BROADCASTING THE END HAS COME EARLY FOR BZ. IT'S KIND OF BITTERSWEET FOR THE KID. EVERYTIME I COME TO NEW YORK I USE MY TIME WISE, I GET ALL I CAN BECAUSE TO ME CONNECTIONS ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN MY LIFE.I HAVE ALWAYS AGREED WITH THE SAYING "NEW YORK IS THE CITY OF DREAMS" I WORKED MY WORDS AND MET QUIET A FeW PEOPLE. THIS TIME IN NEW YORK I BARELY SLEPT BUT I REALLY ENJOYED THIS WEEK. HOPPING FROM STORE TO STORE, VIEWING THE CITY, AND PARTICIPATING IN THE SHOW I HAD AN INVITATION TO WAS ALL GOOD. I HIGHLY APPRICIATE EVERYONE INVOLVED IN MAKING THIS TRIP HAPPEN. I'M FROM PHILLY BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT I DO HAVE RESPECT FOR NEW YORK CITY AND NEW YORKERS, ALSO BESIDES THE FACT THEY BEAT MY PHILLIES IN THE WORLD SERIES LAST YEAR; I STILL HOLD A BOX OF LOVE IN MY HEART FOR NEW YORK..( LOL).. HANDS DOWN NEW YORK CITY WAS TOUGH THIS WEEK.
SHIT GOT A LITTLE HECTIC THOUGH, IN THE STREETS ALL DAY WITHOUT A TOILET WAS ROUGH . IT HAD ME THINKING I RUINED MY FEAKIN BLATTER UNTILL I RUSHED INTO A BATHROOM INSIDE SOME CRAZY LUXURY HOTEL IN SOHO.
THROUGHOUT ALL THE STORES I MADE STOPS AT I WOULD SAY THAT THE "FLIGHT-CLUB" ON LAFAYETTE STREET HAS IMPRESSED ME THE MOST. THE VINTAGE COLLECTION THEY CARRY BLEW ME AWAY, SHIT WAS DEFNITLEY ON SOME "DOPE PILLS". I HAVE MAD RESPECT FOR THE DUDES RUNNING THAT BOUTIQUE AND THE WHOLE FLIGHT-CLUB MOVEMENT, PLENTY OF STOPS WILL BE MADE THERE IN THE FUTURE. I'M THINKING BY ME TELLING YOU I WAS IN NY SINCE FRIDAY YOU HAVE BEEN WONDERING WHERE IS THIS DUDE STAYING? I'M IN COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY WITH A HOMIE WHO GOES BY THE NAME OF JASMIN AKA DJ-ALLURE.
SHE HAS A STRONG CONNECTION WITH THE STAYCOOL FAMILY. ON SATURDAY SHE WAS ILL DJ'IN UNTILL THE PARTY GOT BLOWN BY THE BLUE BOYS (NYPD). WE WERE LIKE DAMMIT! BUT $150 FOR A HOUR IS GREAT IN MY BOOK. ON THE OTHER HAND THIS WEEK BESIDES TRAVELING THROUGH THESE STREETS AND COPIN UP, THE SHOW I HAD AN INVITATION TO TURNED OUT TO BE DOPE.
THE FASHION SHOW: EVEN THOUGH I WENT THROUGH THE TROUBLES OF FINDING THE SHOW, TRAVELING ABOUT 10 BLOCKS TO FIND THIS ONE SIMPLE 27 BUILDING IN UNION SQUARE HAD ME ON THE QUITS OF VIEWING THE SHOW. I DIDN'T GIVE UP EXPERINCING WHAT I CAME HERE FOR. MAD PEOPLE WOULD HAVE BEEN PISSED IF I DIDN'T SHOW MY FACE AT THIS FASHION SHOW(LOL).
I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION VIEWING A REAL ORGANIZED FASHION SHOW WAS A GOOD DEAL FOR ME. THE SHOW WAS RAN BY "KORTO MOMOLU" SHE DID A GOOD JOB WITH HER PROJECT. THE FACT THAT I SEEN NO MENS CLOTHING HAD ME KINDA AT A LOSS THOUGH, IF SHE DID MENS SHIT WOULD BE DOPE. THANKS FOR THE INVITE! A**EA. AT THE END I'M GLAD TO SAY I WAS INVOLVED IN NEW YORK'S SPRING 2010 FASHION WEEK. THIS WAS A GOOD EXPERINCE FOR YOUR BOY. BUT YO! FASHION WEEK IS OVER LATER THIS WEEK AND I'M DONE SCHOOL FOR THE WEEK ON WEDNESDAY, WHO SAYS I WON'T GO BACK THURSDAY NIGHT. HA! LETS SEE. YOU KNOW I'LL KEEP YOU UPDATED HOMIES.
