The WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is the best among the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 as you can create your own finisher and this is probably the most excellent thing which can be added to this game. It is the ninth game of this series with tons of customization and modes. The basic engine of the game is the same but with a lot of tweaking and personalization.

There are many features and attributes added by Yuke to this new version. There is a better hit revealing almost in every match situation along with a greater concentration given to the hotspots which prompt effects such as entering or exiting the ring and designate when a superstar should be climbing to the top rope for aerial maneuvers.

Presently the game is available in 1-4 players options in both online and offline environments. For the ease of the players it has downloadable content and online leader boards as well. Online voice support with EDTV 480p and HDTV 720p support is also an added feature in the game.

The look and the feel of the game is definitely far better than the last year’s release as it has a lot more content to render to the viewers, facial maps and general body textures are greatly improved and are richly enhanced. The 3D flair is enhanced in the game by muscle striations and vein bulging effect of each wrestler during the game. Aesthetics make you feel that you are the part of the fighting ring and it’s indeed a great achievement.

Wwe raw roster

Chances are, we've lost you. NEW ORLEANS – Storming into Louisiana, the first Raw of 2009 brought with it all the explosive action that the WWE Universe has come to expect. What our fans didn't see coming however, was the shocking announcement that after more than six months away, Mr. McMahon himself will be returning to Raw in just two short weeks. This revelation came just prior to the night's main event, which saw World Heavyweight Champion John Cena & Shawn Michaels team up to defeat Randy Orton & Chris Jericho.

As his employer, JBL looked on silently, Shawn Michaels teamed up with the self-proclaimed "wrestling god's" Royal Rumble opponent, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, to take on the vicious team of Randy Orton & Chris Jericho. Earlier in the night, HBK had been encouraged by his boss to turn on The Champ, in an attempt to increase JBL's chances of winning the World Heavyweight Title at Royal Rumble. Throughout the match, Shawn Michaels appeared conflicted, but in the end, it was his Sweet Chin Music that dropped both his opponents, allowing HBK to pin Jericho for the win.

Wwe raw John cena

John Felix-Anthony Cena, better known simply as John is a Italian-American professional wrestler currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment's RAW! brand. John Cena can rap, wrestle and has a huge fan following, often referred as the Chain gang soldiers. He has produced an album, 'Bad bad man'.

He has his own custom-modified spinning WWE Championship belt when he was the Champ in 2005.

Wwe raw Batista

Chris Jericho was left seething on RAW as Batista added his name to the list of special guest referees who just couldn't help but get involved.

In the latest bout of Monday night RAW action, 'The Animal' was placed in charge of the night's showpiece as CM Punk and the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho went head-to-head in a non-title match-up.

Batista, scheduled to meet Jericho for the title at Cyber Sunday, was always going to play a significant part in the clash and so it proved.

In an otherwise fair and hard-fought match-up, the champ and the Straightedge Superstar went blow-for-blow until Jericho finally became frustrated with Batista's slow counts.

Pointing to his ref's jersey in defense of his actions, Batista then delivered the knockout blow as he planted a shattering 'Batista Bomb' on Jericho in the centre of the ring.
